Course Overview

Duration: 9 months (Exams in May/June)
Location: Learning alongside other adults in a friendly, small-group setting.
Cost: * English & Maths: FREE if you do not already hold a Grade 4 (C) or higher in that subject.

GCSE Maths
Achieving a Grade 4 or higher is a key requirement for many jobs and higher education courses. This course builds your confidence and mastery of essential math skills.
Delivery: One 3-hour session per week.
Assessment: Three exam papers in May and June.
Commitment: In addition to class time, you will need at least 2 hours per week for home study.
Entry Requirements: You should be confident with basic maths or have completed Level 2 Functional Skills/Skills for Life.

GCSE English Language
Improve your communication skills and open doors to new career paths. This qualification focuses on reading, writing, and spoken English.
Delivery: One 3-hour session per week.
Assessment: Two exam papers and a Speaking & Listening assessment.
Commitment: In addition to class time, you will need at least 2 hours per week for home study.
Entry Requirements: A previous Grade 3 (D), a Level 2 Functional Skill in English, or a successful initial assessment at Level 2.

GCSE Combined Science
This comprehensive course covers Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, resulting in a double award (the equivalent of 2 GCSEs).
Learning Style: Practical and hands-on. Includes tutor demonstrations, group activities, and one-to-one support.
Commitment: In addition to class time, you will need at least 2 hours per week for home study.

GCSE Biology
This course will follow the AQA GCSE Biology Specification The curriculum covers the fundamental building blocks of life and the complexity of ecosystems
