Employer FAQ

How does the ‘codesign’ process actually work?

Codesign is a partnership. We start by listening to your specific operational challenges and identifying the skills gaps within your team. We then collaborate with your management or subject matter experts to build a curriculum that fits your workplace culture, industry standards, and shift patterns.

Is there a cost for the initial consultation?

No. We offer free advice and guidance to all employers. We will meet with you to audit your current training needs and provide a proposal on how we can best support your company’s objectives without any initial financial commitment.

Can you tailor training for specific industries?

Absolutely. We have extensive experience in codesigning programmes for sectors as diverse as Health & Social Care, Early Years, Retail, and Construction. Whether it is a "Workforce Essentials" package or industry-specific technical skills, the content is adapted to your sector’s unique regulatory requirements.

How do bespoke programmes empower my employees?

By providing training that is directly relevant to their daily tasks, employees feel more confident and valued. Our programmes often lead to recognised qualifications, which improves staff retention, boosts morale, and ensures your team feels invested in the organisation’s success.

Where and when does the training take place?

Flexibility is key to a successful partnership. Training can be delivered:

  • On-site at your business premises to minimise travel.

  • Online via our blended learning platforms.

  • At our local centres across Plymouth at times that suit your shift patterns.
