New Courses for 2024!
We are excited to announce we have some brand new courses for 2024. So get involved and unleash your creativity in the digital sound space with the following courses:
Introduction to DJing
Understand the basics of DJing, including its history, evolution and different types. Be able to beatmatch and mix two tracks together using a DJ Controller or mixer. Have a basic understanding of the skills and equipment needed to start as a DJ.
Studio Recording Basics
Learn the ropes on the basics of studio recording techniques including using a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) such as Logic Pro X and Albeton Live. Different types of microphones and their various recording techniques.
Introduction to Live Events in Sound
Understand the basics of live sound, including different types of systems, equipment and the live sound engineering process. Be able to mix a live band using a mixing console. Have a basic understanding of the skills and equipment needed to get started with live sound.
Introduction to Live Events in Lighting
Understand the basics of event lighting, including different types of equipment and basic lighting design principles.
Be able to set up and operate a basic lighting rig for a live music performance.
Have a basic understanding of the skills and equipment needed to get started with event lighting.
The Depo is a music venue based in the heart of Plymouth, showcasing the best in live and electronic music.
