A good understanding of maths, English and IT (computers) is essential to succeed in everyday life and work. Adults having core skills means having good foundations to grow and progress.
Our maths and English courses for adults include small and friendly day and night courses to help you develop your skills, increase your confidence, and gain qualifications. (Functional Skills and GCSEs)
There are so many adults who struggle with all or parts of these core skills. Maybe you missed out at school or you found school difficult. We often meet adults who felt that they weren’t able to achieve other things or go on to study and that their English and/or maths was a real barrier to their progress.
The good news is that we are experts in building back your confidence and helping you put this right. We work with each person individually to find your gaps and fix them.

I’ve just received my results and have passed both my GCSE English & Maths. I left school in 1988. Getting the chance to redo them was a great opportunity for me. Such a good feeling to have passed, onwards and upwards for me.
